Recurring Tasks in Notion

With the latest update to Notion Automations, there are now 3 ways to handle recurring tasks – without leaving Notion!

To create an automation, hover your mouse over the top right of the database and you’ll see the lightning-bolt Automations icon (1). Click to see all the Automations associated with this database. They should all be paused (see the orange triangle, 2). Hover over the top right of each tile and you’ll see the three dots (3). Click and you’ll have access to all the automation options. Click Resume (4) if you want to see one in action.

3. Advanced Recurring with historic trail

And that’s it!

I hope you have fun creating recurring tasks, meetings, subscriptions etc. True recurring tasks in Notion is something we’ve been waiting for for a very long time, and I’m excited by all the possibilities!
